The Bible Alive Now
The goal of Netafirm is to produce helpful literature with the task of fighting against biblical illiteracy.
The American Biblical Institute, co-founded by James T. Darnell,Jr and his father in the early 1980s, was a forerunner of Netafirm. Its goal was to eradicate biblical illiteracy by using a more amiable hermeneutic that would encourage Christians to study the Bible more thoroughly. In 1981, two publications with an inventory were published: “The Bible Alive Now” and “The Spiritual Gifts Kit For Equipping God’s People.” Two new publications “Saving The Saved” A discipleship Challenge to local Church in 2015 and “Behold, The Holy Spirit” tracing the work of the Holy Spirit from Genesis to Revelation in 2025.
Netafirm Inc. 501c3 is described in our articles of incorporation as a church without walls. Netafirm is focused on discipleship transformation. The 501c3 status allows people to partner with us using a tax-free number: Ta ID #47-4958317. Today, Netafirm is structured to support a global mission. Through the donating and research ministry of Netafirm a wonderful partnership is developed with pastor a academics worldwide.
About our Founder...
James T. Darnell, JR
James serves as senior pastor at Netafirm Inc. Before joining Netafirm, he pastored for 20 years. Passionate about teaching the inductive approach to scripture, he holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Religion from Elizabethtown College, an M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary; and an M.Ed. from Indiana University. James is an author and has served as an adjunct professor of New Testament and philosophy. He is also a certified group leader through the former Bureau of Studies in Adult Education at Indiana University. James also has experience in the medical field. He founded a physician practice management company to enhance medical accessibility and technology for doctors. Alongside the dedicated Board of Directors of Netafirm, he now works tirelessly to combat biblical illiteracy in American churches and globally.
